This guide provides step-by-step instructions for safely moving the Barihab XS (500 lb capacity) and Barihab XKS (1000 lb capacity). Follow these procedures carefully to prevent injury and damage to the equipment.

Moving the Barihab XS (500 lb Capacity) Within the Same Room
If you only need to move the Barihab XS within the same room (without passing through a doorway), follow these steps:
1. Prepare the Table
- Raise the Barihab XS to approximately 30 inches using the height adjustment control.
- Ensure you have two moving dollies available.
- Have at least two people ready to assist.
2. Position the Dollies
- Each person should grab the table from the frame underneath (never lift from the upholstery).
- Slide a dolly under one side of the table.
- Repeat on the other side.
3. Move the Table
- Once both sides are secured on dollies, carefully push the table to its new location.
- Move slowly to ensure stability.
4. Lower the Table
- Once in place, carefully remove the dollies one at a time.
- Lower the table back to its normal operating height.
Moving the Barihab XS (500 lb Capacity) Through a Doorway
If the table needs to be moved through a doorway, follow these additional steps:
1. Lower the Table
- Lower the Barihab XS to 24 inches.
2. Gather Additional Equipment
- You will need four moving dollies (two per side).
- Two 2×6 wooden planks to stabilize the transition.
3. Lift the Table
- With four people, lift the front side of the table from the frame.
- Place two dollies and a 2×6 plank under the front legs.
- Repeat for the back side.
4. Move Through the Doorway
- Slowly guide the table through the door, keeping an eye on clearance.
- Be mindful of dollies shifting—adjust if necessary.
5. Lower and Reposition
- Once through the doorway, reverse the process:
- Lift the table slightly and remove the dollies.
- Lower the table back to its desired height.
Moving the Barihab XKS (1000 lb Capacity)
The Barihab XKS follows the same basic process as the Barihab XS, but due to its heavier weight (650 lbs), additional precautions are required.
1. Moving Within the Same Room
- Raise the table to approximately 30 inches.
- Use two moving dollies (one per side).
- Have at least four people assisting.
- Lift from the frame only.
- Slide the dollies under both sides and move the table to its new location.
- Remove the dollies and lower the table.
2. Moving Through a Doorway
- Lower the table to 24 inches.
- Use four moving dollies (two per side).
- Four people are required for lifting.
- Position 2×6 wooden planks under the front and back legs.
- Secure hand placement (one hand on the main frame, the other on the stabilizing bar).
- Lift, position the dollies, and carefully guide the table through the doorway.
- Reverse the process to lower and stabilize the table in its new location.
